This may look like:
💩 Hard/pellet-like stools
💩 Infrequent bowel movements — however, in breastfed babies, this is a bit less of a concern since their bowel habits are different
💩 Bowel movements that appear painful & difficult to pass
The frequency of bowel movements will also depend on the age and diet of your little one.
Be mindful, if you’re transitioning your little one to formula or solids, you may find a big difference in their poop consistency, colour and smell.
Some great home remedies to help prevent constipation 👇
💩Hydration is key: Ensure your baby stays adequately hydrated. Proper hydration helps soften stools and facilitates smoother digestion.
💩 Fiber-filled goodness: If your baby has started solid foods, gradually introduce age-appropriate foods that are rich in fiber. Think fruits (prunes, pears, and peaches), vegetables (sweet potatoes, peas, and broccoli), and whole grains (oatmeal or brown rice cereal).
💩Tummy time and movement: Gentle exercises like tummy time, leg bicycling, or light baby massages can stimulate the digestive system and help alleviate constipation.
💩Keep an eye on fortified-iron intake: If your baby is consuming iron-fortified formula or foods, it’s important to note that these can be difficult on babies digestive system.
💩Establish a routine: Establishing a consistent feeding and sleeping routine can help regulate your baby’s digestive system.
💩 Gentle massage can help stimulate bowels & relax baby — keeping them from straining and helping get things moving.
💩 A warm bath can help relax abdominal muscles and help them to stop straining.
Seek guidance when needed: If your baby experiences persistent or severe constipation, it’s crucial to consult your pediatrician for professional advice. They can assess the situation, provide guidance tailored to your baby’s specific needs, and suggest appropriate interventions if necessary.

to make it a little lighter!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 20 bunches of fresh basil, leaves only
- 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
Directions:
1️⃣ Place all ingredients in a food processor or Vitamix until desired consistency
2️⃣ Taste test 😉
3️⃣ Serve with veggies or bread

Are you struggling because your baby is having sho Are you struggling because your baby is having short naps? 
4 reasons they may not be sleeping long enough 👇 
1️⃣ They’re under tired OR over tired. Following wake windows is especially important here to ensure they’re on a developmentally age appropriate routine. 
2️⃣ Their room is too bright, noisy, hot or cold. Setting their room up for success is imperative to a good sleeper. Little disturbances such as a crack of light shining through or being too warm can disrupt their sleep big time! 
3️⃣ At Well Bebe, we really emphasize the importance of a FULL belly! Have they had enough to eat before their nap? Try topping them up a couple oz before they go down for their nap. 
4️⃣ You’re not giving them the chance to fall back to sleep. Younger babies especially have a “startle reflex” and this can wake them from their sleep before they’re ready to wake up. Try giving them some time to fall back to sleep on their own!
