A breast pump!
Ben had a really hard time latching when he was first born and I really wanted to be sure that he got the first bit of colostrum.
But did you know that in order to release milk, your nipples need to be stimulated? 🤔 
At this time I realized that I was lacking nipple stimulation so my husband headed down to the pharmacy in the hospital to get a breast pump.
This helped with the stimulation that I needed and Ben got the golden milk that is so crucial in the beginning days of life! 🙌
This was a life saver!

You will have other moms, grandmas, and family members constantly telling you what YOU should do when it comes to YOUR kids.
My advice?
Stop explaining yourself! NO MATTER WHAT SLEEP STYLE YOU USE! This goes for my co-sleeping families as well.
You will get so caught up in your explanation – which no one deserves anyway. This will sometimes cause you to feel even more guilt and shame for your decisions.
The ONLY people who know what is truly best for your family and your child is YOU and your partner. Stand firm mama!

Be mindful, if you’re transitioning your little one to formula or solids, you may find a big difference in their poop consistency, colour and smell.

💩Hydration is key: Ensure your baby stays adequately hydrated. Proper hydration helps soften stools and facilitates smoother digestion.
